Anna graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours) in 2013, having already completed a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Zoology and Microbiology from the same university. Anna has worked as a small animal vet in busy clinics, 24hr emergency hospitals and has been a locum vet for over 30 of Brisbane’s vet clinics before founding Fetch a Vet Mobile Vet service in 2019. She enjoys every aspect of general practice but particularly preventative medicine and senior pet health care, all the while building good relationships with her clients and their pets.
Anna is originally from Japan but grew up in a few different countries including Thailand and Israel, as her father was a newspaper journalist who traveled around the world for work. Anna always had an affinity for living creatures, and her childhood pets consisted of family cats, a rabbit, turtles, fish, hamsters and birds. After graduating from a high school in Tokyo, she came to Australia to study, where she now calls her home. Outside of being a vet, Anna enjoys photography, reading books, good coffee and enjoys spending time with her young girls. She has a tabby cat called Nala, who leads a relaxed and very spoiled life.
Lynn McKinley

Growing up in South Australia Lynn’s family loved animals of all types. They collectively had hand reared galahs, parrots, parakeets, horses, dogs, chickens, ducks, rabbits and even raised a young tammar wallaby.
Lynn, now a mother of 6 and Vet nurse of over 25 years brings her passion about the health and welfare of animals to work with her every day. Lynn has experience working with not only dogs and cats, but also koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, sheep, goats, horses, rats, guinea pigs and snakes. She has a broad knowledge base that she enjoys passing on to customers every chance she gets. She has a natural affinity for pet owners and loves spending time providing exceptional customer and patient care.
When she’s not taking care of her pets at home on their Sunshine Coast acreage, she’s enjoying the beach with her kids and dogs and spending time with her ever growing extended family.

Our Story
Fetch a Vet is a small family business founded by Dr. Anna Lowe in April 2019 who saw a growing need for a convenient home visiting vet service in the north Brisbane community. As a mum, Anna realised how hard it was to get the baby ready and into the car to run errands, and that it must be near impossible to do this while also taking a large, energetic dog or an anxious cat to the vet, so the idea for Fetch a Vet was born.
We offer friendly, professional home visits for your dogs and cats from our base in North Lakes, and service the surrounding suburbs. We provide convenient, affordable, personalised vet care to our patients from the comfort of their own home.

We come to you, so you don’t have to take time out of your day to take your pets to a vet clinic. No more stressing your pets, everything will be done in the comfort of your own home. We offer $0 travel fee to wide areas around North Lakes and to extended areas on different days to make it easier for you.
We allocate minimum 30mins per each visit, so we are not rushed while looking after your pet.
You have the consistency of one vet and one nurse, you will always speak to the same person and the same vet for your pet’s continuity of care.
We will always be upfront of the costs before treatment, we won’t upsell and we are practical when it comes to your pets treatment options.
We offer competitive breeder discount rates on a vaccination + microchip bundle for the litter of pups and kittens, offering a stress free and easy option to get their first vet check for the young ones in the comfort of their familiar environment.
We keep digital records of all your pet’s immunisations and other medical histories and have a reminder system stored in our secure cloud- based veterinary management system so the information is kept safe and we have a high standards of client confidentiality.
