Vaccinations & Regular Health Checks
We use an industry trusted Boehringer Ingelheim brand of vaccines for all our vaccine protocols. To maintain adequate immunity, all adult dogs and cats require annual boosters.
C5 vaccination for dogs provide protection against parvovirus, distemper, and adenovirus (hepatitis) as well as parainfluenza and Bordetella bronchiseptica (kennel cough).
F3 vaccination for cats provide protection against feline panleukopenia, feline rhinotracheitis virus and feline calici virus. This is a core vaccine to prevent ‘cat flu’ and recommended for all cats. Cats require yearly booster vaccinations to provide long term immunity.
FIV (Feline immunodeficiency virus) vaccinations for cats are also available.

Fetch a Vet puppy vaccination schedule – 10 week finish protocol
Boehringer Ingelhelm vaccines that we use is created with the latest technology that provides sufficient immunity and protection for puppies by 10weeks, rather than conventional 16weeks of age. As directed by the manufacturer here in Australia, a vaccination at 6weeks, 8weeks and 10weeks of age with this brand of vaccine is sufficient for a puppy to go out and explore the world, just 7-10days after the 3rd puppy vaccination. The big advantage of this is that puppies can get out to socialise and develop important skills sooner rather than later.
Puppy vaccination schedule:
- First puppy vaccine (C3) 6 weeks
- Second puppy vaccine (C5) 8 weeks
- Third puppy vaccine (C4) 10 weeks
- Then annual vaccinations from 15 months of age
16 Weeks finish protocol
A lot of vets in Australia still use 16weeks finish protocol as recommended by the WSAVA (world small animal veterinary association) Guideline, which encompasses every vaccine brand and variable local conditions around the world. If your puppy has had previous vaccines by elsewhere that is different to the schedule we employ above, the type and number of vaccinations your puppy need may vary, in which case we will most likely to revert back to the 14-16weeks finish protocol as below. Note that for a puppy to be fully covered for kennel cough, a pup must have at least two vaccines that protect against parainfluenza and one for Bordetella bronchiseptica.
- First puppy vaccine (C3) 6-8 weeks
- Second puppy vaccine (C5) 10-12 weeks
- Third puppy vaccine (C4) 14-16 weeks
For Kittens
